Position Overview

The Home Care Aide provides non-medical in-home support to clients, assisting with daily living activities to promote independence, dignity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility

• Provide medication reminders

Household Support

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Meal preparation and cooking

Client Support

• Transportation to appointments and errands (as needed)

• Monitor and report changes in client condition

• Maintain accurate documentation

Professional Standards

• Maintain patient confidentiality

• Communicate with physicians and healthcare professionals

• Share important updates with fellow caregivers and office staff

• Follow all care plans and professional standards of conduct

Requirements

• Active Washington State HCA or CNA certification
