Visiting Angels is seeking dependable, compassionate CNAs/NACs and HCAs to provide high-quality, in-home care. Weekend caregivers are a top priority, especially those with experience in dementia or ALS care.

🧡 Key Responsibilities

As a CNA/NAC or HCA, you will provide compassionate, professional care in clients’ homes, including:

  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting

  • Safe transfers and mobility support, including Hoyer lifts

  • Dementia and/or ALS care

  • Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition

  • Taking and documenting vital signs

  • Meal preparation, feeding, and hydration

  • Light housekeeping and safety checks

  • Companionship and emotional support

  • Following individualized care plans and completing required documentation
     

✔️ Minimum Requirements

  • Current CNA/NAC or HCA certification – REQUIRED
  • Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience – REQUIRED
  • Weekend availability – STRONGLY PREFERRED
    *Ability to lift up to 25 lbs safely

Required or Highly Preferred Experience:

  • Dementia care

  • ALS care

  • Hoyer lift transfers

  • Home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings

Additional Qualifications:

  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient demeanor

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to assist safely with transfers and mobility

  • Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references
